Goodbye.....

Tug my shirt in, nd set d belt right

d shoes are polished and combed my hair twice

D sun is unusually bright as i close my hands to pray

smthng big awaits, smthng incredible begins tday

I reach for my local wid tym ticking away

I fight thru d crowd nd find my sacred space

enuff to breathe in nd out I say "Its nt just another day"

I huff I puff nd reach my offc gate

only to be told u r 15 mins late

D panic seeps in nd it gets tuffer with every second

D seniors are humble bt there expectations make u tumble

My legs start to shake as d pressure mounts on

Thts when I see my chair and I say " Hold on Hold on Hold on"

Wht followed was a lil magical nd enriching experience of my life

It had its highs nd lows but all worthwhile

Yearning Ideating and Transpiring on my way

From a novice to a trader from a lay man to a investor, I learned everyday

On d way met mentors nd more importantly frends

dey guided dey scolded nd made sure I tied loose ends

We whispered we chanted We tasted succcess

We trusted We motivated We made new friends

Today I arrive rite on time

D work is routine and Nifty is volatile

I knew the journey would end and the road would bend

I guess this is it and I follow d old trend

A final look at my desk nd my beloved chair

I stand tall to see smiling faces and some still glare

Dis final walk from my desk to d office gate, sends time to a standstill

As moments nd flashes of history hit me wid each step

I swap my card for d one last time

For what seems my final words " Thank You All.... Goodbye"

I stare at him
With a fear of realising he would notice and smile back
I persist on observing this look
I want this look, I want this mood
I stare at him

The look is deprived of feelings
I sense a rage rising within
I splash water to get a better look
The water is cold, but the burn within is rising
With each drop trickling down
Their is no sign of discomfort
I stare at him

The eyes go moist and tell a different story now
The fear canot be washed away
Scratches of destiny are prominent than ever
He is volatile and can explode anytime
I ignore this intrudence and rage
I stare at him

He has changed, changed for no good
His belief has crumbled
The pride is gone, as he looks for cover
I could sense the discomfort and the pain is unbearable
He doesnt blink and neither do I
I stare at him

MBA : what a journey

We sat hand in hand
In this journey of life
Rising through leaps and bounds,
It was an adventurous ride
It had its share of drama
It had its own vibe
A story that can never be told
But only be picturised
The actors were serene
And their future was bright
Cast from various states
And all full of life
As they set to unleash
In the city of Dreams
Looking to transcend horizons
In turbulent times
Some memories to cherish in our old times
Like the taste of a vintage wine

A bunch of maniacs we were
As we enter through the door
All were distinct but alike at core
We demanded we begged
And at times we roared
Often than not we sat all bored
We wished clock ticked faster
And we could cherish the lunch time
Some puffed some gossiped
For some it was again CT time
Some memories to cherish in our old times
Like the taste of a vintage wine

Classes seem endless but we managed our time
Assignments came pouring but we weathered the tide
PPT’s made us crazy
Perhaps we were a little too lazy
Canteens were fun
Chai with Maska bun
Library was heaven
Staring at gals 24x7
Rushed and hushed but still never on time
Ended up sleeping the entire class time
Some memories to cherish in our old times
Like the taste of a vintage wine

As we step away from the masses
A final glare at the door
Those empty classes
Those vacant floors
Flashes of past hit me in a hurry
Moving with d sliding gate in a flurry
I wish I could slow the clock down
I wish I could wake up and reach the class now
I wish I could laugh with my friends once more
I wish I could present and do an assignment once more
I sat all shattered as the gate is locked
Only to realize the future at glore
No more bunking
No more delay in time
A tiring journey ahead
It feels like I have committed a crime
I raise my voice for d one last time
Thank you all for these memories
Memories which I would cherish in my old times
I am sure it would taste just like a vintage wine

Remembered As Someone

I entered dis world with all smiles around me
With a heart that was pure and god residing within me
I grow up to be a kid remembering those words from dad
"Be a good boy, son" which kept me away from the bad

Ethical seeds were sown and habbits were formed
Only to be washed away with teenage storm
I mingled with words and redefined leisure as pleasure
Only to be defeated whenever, wherever
As I stood there all strangled and puzzled in life
I recalled the old sayings of dad and hated my life

Thats when I rose from the ashes and rewrote my story
The story that unfolded and led me to glory
I transformed my attitude and introspected my life
Something that was essential to weather this tide
My rudderless life needed a direction ahead
And thts when I set up goals to scale new heights

I walked fearless on the path and learnt all I could
On the path of success I was enlightened to glory
I painted on the walls and set out on the motto of my life
To be remembered as someone

"Who was successful in all walks of life"

Cherished Memories

We met at the most unusual place
Expecting the unexpected and looking forward for success
Success,a word tht has eluded from our lives
I realised we all were distinct and yet so similar
Thats when I asked myself Will it last forever my friend

We sat, all lost, in every corner of the class
Humming songs and sketchin new wonders was all we could manage
Solving a question was an act of crime
Cursing teacher for takin extra time
Handwriting was inversely proprtional to the duration of class
Thats when I asked myself Will it last forever my friend

Exams pass by as History repeats itself
Frustration seeps in as we sat all shattered
Lending shoulder to each other was the best we could do
Realising it isnt the end we move ahead too
Thats when i asked myself Will this last forever my friend

The day arrives when we have to part away
Heading into a new world is what we were always lookin for
But as we recall those unforgettable moments together
We realise how tough it is to say good-bye
The silence says it all as we struggle to find words
I turn around to hide my tears
As I set out on a new journey
I realise History wont repeat this time
Thats when I ask myself I wish it cud last forever my friend

Reason of Existence

I sit idle in this corner of the world
Trying to answer the reason of my existence
My inner voice died years ago
When I was made to believe rather then Think

I lived with this fallacy of a soul within me
Denying hypocracy and living in fantasy
The battle has just begun
And I feel my arms go numb
I had fought to survive
But now I enjoy the slide

I love to be ordered as I am unsure about myself
The stampede continues and I enjoy the trend
I love my surroundings which are ordered and perfect
Far away from the misery residing within

I succumb to this pressure to win again n again
But I continue to participate in this materialistic race

A True Engineer

Fortunes have changed and lifes revived,
Cherished every moment and fought to survive
As we recall those days of drama and glory,
Classes of laughter and some serious love stories
Chatting for hours and those daily fights,
Unsure of our future but living our life

Sleeping late night & bunking in day time,
Moaning in Labs and singing form back
To stare at gals with your thirsty eyes,
Noticing her acts and the way she smiles
Those bumps at midnight and singing songs of delight
Dancing naked and smoking all night

The day has come which we feared the most,
As tears trickle down and we loose our hopes
The last sight at the gate and those empty classes,
A final Goodbye before we walk away from the masses

We wish time stand by and clock stops ticking,
But hav to accept that life must keep moving
Before emotions take over me nd make me cry
I announce the end of an era
The end of our college life
